Subject Description:
Introduction to organic chemistry. Development of basic principles to understand the structure and reactivity of organic molecules. Emphasis on substitution and elimination reactions and chemistry of the carbonyl group. Introduction to the chemistry of aromatic compounds.

practice for final
Hi everyone,Just to clarify, there are a bunch of practice problems posted that you should work through before the final. There is not a practice final exam, since you don't need to necessarily worry about time issues on the final. Make sure to go through the practice problems and also go over all the problems from the previous exams.
An announcement will be made in the next couple of days with times of the TA open office hours before the final. See you for the last lecture tomorrow!
