In question 3, parts a, b, and c, anywhere it says "allele A", replace it with "allele F".  Sorry if that caused any confusion.

A new problem set 7, and the answer key to problem set 6 have been posted.

One question in problem set 6 refers to recombinant inbred strains of mice.  Although we talked about these in class and recitation, if you need more review, a good resource is http://www.informatics.jax.org/silver/frames/frame9-2.shtml.  Figure 9.4 has an outline of how these lines eventually become homozygous at every locus.

Problem set 6 has been posted, covering the material through Tuesday, 11/18/08.
