Solutions to the 16.31 Fall 2007 final, which has been distributed this term as a practice exam, have been posted to Stellar.

A document detailing the Quanser Lab Competition is now on stellar.  This is a fun one -- fire up your controllers, design a clean trajectory, and go for the gold(-colored gift card).

The solutions for Midterm Exam 2 are now on Stellar.  Here are the distributions for exam scores (out of 100):

16.30: mean 60, st dev 22.
16.31: mean 86  st dev 10.
Total: mean 70, st dev 23.

The due date for Lab 2 has been pushed back to November 25th.  If you'll be leaving town before then for Thanksgiving, make sure to turn your lab in early.

In case it wasn't clear from the in-class discussion, the steady-state hover thrust tau_coll_0 should be positive; the implication is that positive roll --> positive travel rate.  The lab document has been revised to make this more apparent (cf. Table 1).
