A few announcements:

Extra Office Hours
We have added extra office hours tomorrow in addition to the old ones.  Please see the below schedule for the updated version.
  • Friday (12/10)  3-4pm (Joline)  (E53-160C)
  • **new**Saturday (12/11) 10am-noon (Jason) (E51-385)**
  • Saturday (12/11)   noon-1pm (Shashi)  (E51-385)

Review on Sunday
  • This Sunday (December 12th), we will hold a 3 hour review session in Wong auditorium form 9am until noon. 
  • The slides have been posted on Stellar under "Materials>Final"
  • We will cover 10 topics including material from the entire course.
  • There will be a 10 minute break at the midpoint (after 1.5 hours).

Final Exam
Will be Monday, December 13, from 9am to noon (3 hours)

  1. Please show up early so that we may start on time

**DMD Office Hours Changed on Saturday**

Greetings students in DMD,

In order to accomodate the accounting review session on Saturday, we have moved up our office hours to noon.
Also, please check the rooms below, as they are not the traditional rooms we have used for office hours all semester.

A few announcements:

Final
  • Final is Monday December 13th from 9-12
  • Final review is on Sunday December 12th from 9am - 12 in Wong Auditorium
  • 2008 and 2009 finals are posted with solutions
  • The formula sheet is posted
  • No laptops or smartphones or textbooks or notes during exam
  • Bring calculator and pen/pencil only during exam

Nonlinear optimization
We have posted some problems with solutions on Stellar about Nonlinear Optimization.  They are listed under Homework as "Homework 5".  You do not need to complete this: it is only for your own study if you'd like to practice some problems.
