Information:
Consumer behavior insights are crucial to the understanding the consumption choices that people make and the development of effective Marketing strategies. This course will provide an introduction to Consumer Behavior academic literature, in two modules: the first is rooted in Sociological theory (how social structure shapes behavior); the second is rooted in Psychology (with an emphasis on evolutionary factors). Professors Gosline and Ackerman will guide you through these disciplinary approaches to consumer behavior, respectively.
