Final Exam this Wednesday
Dear Class,
Thank you for taking Linear Algebra. It's a great subject. I hope that you will find this material useful
for years to come... indeed as useful as calculus itself (maybe more so?)
The final exam is Wednesday -- Johnson Track 1:30-4:30 in the afternoon.
Looks like there will be nine questions with subparts.
Never hurts to learn well all of: four fundamental subspaces, eigenvalues, positive definite matrices, Jordan
normal form, singular value decomposition, linear transformations, connection to differential equations, determinants,
etc.
We didn't cover numerical linear algebra and only covered complex matrices a little bit, so these topics will
likely not appear on the final. Nonetheless, these are terrific topics.
Let me also take this opportunity to wish you all the happiest of holiday seasons.
