Error in Course Reader: Eq 17.170
Hi Guys, a few of you have correctly pointed out that there is
a typo in the course reader for Kp(T). Since P_i=Ptot*x_i, this
means that each mole fraction should also be raised its
stoichiometric coefficient v_i on the right hand side of the
equation. Kp(T)=[Ptot^(sum(nu_i))]*Prod(x_i^(nu_i)). It may have
also been copied onto the board incorrectly during lecture, so
please check your notes as well. If you made a mistake on the
homework set because of this typo we will not take off any
points.
