Class notes Nov 8
I just posted a handout for class tomorrow (Monday). We will first finish up the material on membrane proteins (handouts from last week) and then move on to this new material and the short talk. The short talk slides will be posted later today.
See you all in class!

Class on Nov 1 -
the reading for Monday's class (with Prof. Hidde Ploegh) is now posted. There are two reviews that overlap a bit, but we posted them both becausde you may prefer one or the other. In addition there is a short communication. Hopefully this will not be too much to take a look at while you are all finishing the review assignment!
In honor of the first big assignment being done and since we are at the half way mark of the semester - there will be coffee, tea and muffins (or something with a high carbohydrate content :-) at class on Monday. So make sure to come in time to stake your claim on that and also to enjoy the next faculty talk.

Week of October 25th
Reading for the two faculty talks is now posted.
For the Sauer/Baker talk, the Prof. have provided a copy of a not yet published review, so it is not in the typeset format. I have parsed the document into 3 chunks (MS text, Figs and Refs) to make it easier to handle.
The review are due on Nov 1st. Please pay attention to the instruction and include the word length in a line at the beginning of the document. It is important to follow the guidelines! Also please submit 4 copies (all in color if you have color figs), to me in class or in the box outside my office (18-590). I prefer not to get electronic submissions as it all gets a bit crazy with 30 review areticles all coming in at once!!
See you all on Monday!
