Presentations + HKN forms
Dear all,We will start the class tomorrow at 2:45pm (instead of 2:30pm). Please come to class even if you are not presenting. People who are not presenting are responsible for asking questions to the speakers.
If you are presenting, please upload your slides before the lecture. This allows us to use the same laptop for all presentations and hence save time.
Finally, please do fill in the HKN online form. It is extremely important to us to hear your feedback. The form is at:
https://sixweb.mit.edu/student/evaluate/6.829-f2010
Cheers,
-Dina

Project Presentation
Dear All,Project presentations are next week. To accommodate all groups, we will have presentations on both Tuesday and Thursday. Please sign up for a 15-minute slot for your group at:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=tFNPFx3FQU5DSZ2LrgBBxCw&hl=en#gid=0
Each group has a total of 15 minutes. You should plan on presenting for about 11 minutes and leaving 4 minutes for questions/answers.
Try to follow the following structure in your presentation:
First, explain the problem. Second, explain the basic idea
underlying your solution. Add details if time permits. Third,
explain your results (Your results may be empirical or analytical).
Finally, conclude with your contributions.
Please practice your presentation and make sure that you time it
correctly.
The final project paper is due next Thursday (i.e., a week from tomorrow).
Email me if you have any question.
