Evaluations

Hi everyone,

Congratulations on finishing the third and final exam of the course! I had a great time teaching you all, and I can say that I learned a lot of genetics myself from discussions with you over the course of the semester.

I have one final thing to ask of you all-- you should have received an email about course evaluations. They are due on Monday morning (12/13 at 9 am). The data collected from these evaluations are incredibly useful in helping us know what works and what doesn't work about this class, and also for us (especially TAs) to understand our strengths and weaknesses as instructors.

Exam III in Walker Gym

Back by popular demand, the third exam will take place in the 3rd floor Walker Gym (50-340). This is the same location as Exam II.

The exam will be 9 am-12 pm, and as before it is open notes/book. As mentioned before, you may bring a laptop with David's slides instead of printing them all (obviously, you may not email or chat during the exam).

some reading material mentioned in class you might find interesting

Good morning students. I have been searching my memory this morning, trying to recall times I said in class "I will try to post a reading on this topic you may find interesting". This morning I have postedmost of the readings I was thinking of. But I may have missed something, or there may be something you would like to read about further. Let me know by email if there is anything you would like posted as a reading and I will try to do that. Have a good rest of the weekend. David
