Information: 

Rigorous introduction to fundamentals of statistics motivated by engineering applications. Topics include order statistics, sufficient statistics, exponential families, estimation theory, decision theory, analysis of variance (ANOVA), simple linear regression, and selected topics.

About Homework 2 and 3

The last problem of Homework 2, i.e., problem 7, can be turned in with Homework 3, but all other problems in Homework 2 should be finished and turned in to 32-D658 no later than 5pm, October 13.
