Exams, Reviews and Evaluations

Hi all,

a. All of the notes from last week's lectures are posted and the guest lectures will be posted to the Stellar site in the next day. The materials from Professor Welsch will be good resources for you for a wide variety of topics in intro statistics, but these topics will not be covered on next week's exam.

b. The exam is MONDAY DECEMBER 19th at 9:00 AM in Walker Memorial. It is cumulative, there is no intended emphasis on one particular section of the course. Bring a calculator.

c. NO MORE RECITATIONS but we will have 4 review sessions (all in 56-302):
1. Wednesday 5:00-6:00pm (Nate)
2. Thursday 5:00-6:00pm (Nate)
3. Friday 1:15-2:30pm (Jen)
4. Friday 4:30-5:30pm (Sarah)
They won't be taught like recitations but we'll handle questions as students introduce them. If you have specific requests for material contact one of us (depending on the review you're attending).

d. Please please please fill out course evaluations. It means a lot for us to hear your feedback. Because, as Professor Welsch mentioned in class, we otherwise don't know if our "academic experiments" are helping you all to learn the material! The site - (http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation) is open until FRIDAY!

Otherwise, it's been a pleasure getting to know all of you. Good luck studying and congrats on finishing your first semester of third year!

Jen
