Stellar Forum Posts next week

Hi everyone,

Stellar forum posts for next week are optional! Doing the reading for class, of course, is not, so I encourage you to post to the forum anyway! And if you missed some posts earlier in the semester, then I'll count your posts to the forum for next week's readings as make-up posts for earlier missed posts.

Extension on Third Paper

Hi everyone,

For those of you who missed class today or came late: by popular demand, the deadline for the third paper has been pushed back from this Thursday to next Tuesday, Nov 22, by the beginning of class. I hear this is a very busy week for most of you, so a little more time would be appreciated!

If you'd like to meet with me to talk about your papers, I'll be available on Friday afternoon after 2pm. Send me an email to schedule a meeting.

Third Paper Topics

Hi everyone,

Tenzin pointed out to me today that the copy of the paper third topics on the stellar site gives the wrong due date (the syllabus has the right due-date): papers are due on Thursday, Nov. 17th, by the beginning of class.
I went onto the stellar site just now to fix the mistake, and realized why it had occurred: I accidentally uploaded last year's paper topics instead of this year's. The only difference (besides the date) is that I've added a question on Parfit's "Five Mistakes" to the topic options. The new (correct!) paper topics are on the stellar site now. Sorry about the mix-up!
