First Day Notice

Welcome to 10.34.
A (optional but recommended) Matlab tutorial session will be tomorrow from 11 - 12:30 in 66-110 (the same room as lecture). This session will cover the basic usage of Matlab which will be very helpful for those of you who have never used it before. Please make sure Matlab is installed on your laptop and bring it to this session (see the installation instructions under materials).

Homework 0 is going to be posted this afternoon please read it over in advance of the Matlab tutorial session tomorrow.

Other useful information can be found on the class website, https://stellar.mit.edu/S/course/10/fa13/10.34/ please examine it carefully and refer to it frequently.
