Reminder: Final Exam tomorrow

Hello all,
You are all scheduled to take your final exams tomorrow at 1:30pm in the CRE Lecture Hall 9-354. Expect the exam to take up to an hour but you can have a bit longer if needed.
No need for calculators or scales but you will have to sketch a couple of diagrams.
See you all tomorrow. Please return markers if you still have them.

PREP FOR FINAL EXAM

Class-
Hopefully you've already begun preparing for the Final Exam, but I thought it would be helpful to suggest that you review all lecture notes, review any notes you have on Case Study presentations, and get together to talk about lessons learned during the field trips. We will have a final lecture on Industrial RE Products Wednesday, content from which will also be on the Exam.
To give you a feel for what the final will be like, I've just posted a Trial Exam for your benefit under Materials on Stellar. Bring any last minute questions you have to class on Wednesday.

Field Trip to the Liberty Hotel this week

Class-
We will hold class this week at the Liberty Hotel. Please plan to arrive Wednesday by 3:30 sharp, so we can begin on time. Meet in the upper lobby (at the top of the escalator.) We will have a presentation by the General Manager of the hotel, take a tour, and then retire to the bar for refreshments afterward, if you have the time. If you haven't already, please review the material on Stellar before class.

Markers in CRE common room

Hello All,

I left a big container of markers in the CRE common room for use in your assignment. Please remember to:

1. TEST the color before using it on the drawing. Many of the colors are very intense/highly saturated and will not look how you expect.
2. RETURN the markers once you are done. These are my personal property and I use them for my own work. I would also like to be able to share them with you in the studio next semester.

The markers can be a little tricky as first, so maybe do a practice page on trace first and try to use lighter colors.
