Monday's Presentations and Final Drafts

14.33 Students,

As I mentioned in class on Wednesday, we have five students scheduled to give presentations for each of the last two dates, this coming Monday and Wednesday. In order to allow each of the students close to 20 minutes for their presentations, we will need to start class a few minutes early. We will try to get the first presentation started around 8:50, and then if each student uses his or her full 20 minutes, we will finish right at 10:30. If coming early is very difficult for some reason, then plan on arriving in time for the second talk, approximately 9:10.

If you are presenting, be sure to email your presentation (PDF suggested) to Sara H. and Gaston in advance so they can set them up on a computer.

Again, I will bring donuts. See you next week! Oh, and don't forget that your final drafts are due on Wednesday. You can bring them to class or drop them in the 14.33 box by 4:30 that afternoon.

Presentations

Hello everyone,

We hope everyone had a nice break.  We are looking forward to the presentations starting tomorrow, and wanted to write with a few reminders:

1.  Please send your powerpoint or PDF to both Gaston and Sara H. at least an hour before 9am on the day on which you are scheduled to present.  (Check the assignment on the course Stellar site to verify your presentation date.)

2.  Your presentation will be graded primarily on clarity, organization, time usage, and handling of questions.

3.  You are required to attend three out of the four presentation sessions.

4.  Please try to arrive as close to 9am as possible so that the presentations of your fellow students are not interrupted by late arrivals.

5.  I will bring donuts.  (You can bring coffee or something else to drink, if you want.)
