About missing code grades for Implementation 3

Hi all,

You might be wondering why the code grade is missing for Implementation 3. It's because this code takes longer to run, and we're currently working on setting up a system that will let us run all your files in parallel. Since the system is not ready yet, we haven't been able to test everyone's code. We decided to go ahead and return the implementations anyway so that all of you could have feedback on your write-ups.

To report the code grades, we'll send out an email to everyone when we've run the code. Following that first general email, if you don't receive another email from us, you may assume your code ran and that you received 10 points. We'll individually email those people whose code didn't run to inform them of their grades.

Best,
David and Zach

Error in implementation instructions sample Figure 4

Hi all,

Zach and I discovered an error in the code used to generate the sample figures given in the Hoffmann et al. implementation instructions that affected Figure 4's appearance. We've updated Figure 4 to reflect the correction. The updated instruction set is now posted in place of the older one on Stellar.

Best,
David and Zach

Tuesday office hours room change to 4-231

Hi all,

Since we're meeting on a different day than usual for office hours, the regular room wasn't available at 7, so we'll be meeting in 4-231 instead. See http://whereis.mit.edu/?mapterms=4-231 for a map to the room. This change only applies to this particular office hours session.

Have a good weekend,
David and Zach

Office hours on Tuesday next week

Hi all,

Next week, Monday is Veteran's Day. To avoid holding office hours on a holiday, we'll be holding office hours next week on Tuesday, November 12, at 7 PM in 16-220. This is only a one-time change. The week after, we'll be back to Monday office hours at 6.
