Final Exam Grade and Final Course Grades

Hi everyone,

We have uploaded a histogram displaying final exam grades - it should be under the 'Exams' section in the 'Materials' section of the Stellar website. Final exam solutions will be posted later (probably over IAP)

The final exam statistics are as follows:

Total points: 180
Maximum score: 176/180
Mean score: 128.8/180
Median score: 130/180

Also, we have finished assigning final course grades. These should be available in WebSIS for everyone in the course.

On behalf of all the staff, it's been a pleasure working with you all this semester! Have a happy holidays and a restful break!

Finals Logistics

Hi all,

This is a reminder that our final will be on Tuesday, December 17, 9:00am - 12:00pm on the Johnson Track.

Please read the following instructions carefully and prepare accordingly so that the test runs as smoothly as possible.

If you cannot make the test due to an conflict with another final or other special circumstances, you should have already received an email from us regarding taking the makeup. If you have not received an email from us, please email us ASAP at 6.006-staff@mit.edu.

Please plan to arrive at the Johnson Track a few minutes early. The final will last 3 hours and we will be collecting finals promptly at 12pm so any tardiness is your loss.

The final is closed book, but you are allowed to bring THREE double-sided cheat sheets with handwritten or typed notes. Please bring your own writing instrument (we will not be providing these). The final is cumulative and so will cover topics from the entire semester.

Thank you and happy studying!

Review Sessions and Review Sheet

Hi all,

I've posted a Review Session Topics sheet under Recitations that will give an outline of what will be covered in the two sessions. However, we may choose to expand/discuss in more detail certain topics during the sessions.

Note that this review sheet is meant to help you study and is not comprehensive of all the topics discussed in class this semester. You should still study what was covered in class and recitations.

Friday review session will be covered by Chris and Sherwin.

Saturday review session will be covered by Tej, Vlad, and Arvind.

Good luck!
