Lastly, congratulations on finishing 6.046! We loved teaching it, and really hope you too enjoyed the material and the class. Happy holidays and have a great break!

Check PSet Grades
Hi all,We hope the final went well! We ask just one more thing of you: please login to the Stellar Gradebook (not the submissions page) and check that your pset grades account for any unusual circumstances or “exceptions” you notified us about. For example, if you submitted a pset late but received an approved extension, your grades should not be zero for those problems. Similarly, if you received an approved excusal from a problem the grade should read “Excused.” If you notice any mistakes, please send an email to 6046-tas@mit.edu *by midnight tonight* detailing why you think your grade is incorrect.
Note that this only concerns administrative matters; we will no longer be regrading problems.
Good luck finishing up the rest of your semester!

Final Practice Problems
I just posted a few practice problems for the final. These focus on the material covered towards the beginning of the semester. I plan on going over at least one of these problems during the review session tonight, and I'll be available on Sunday to discuss them as well.
Happy studying!

Final Exam Information (It May Include Food!)
Hi all,The final exam will take place this Monday, December 16, from 9:00am to 12:00pm in Johnson Track. It will start on time, so you should arrive early.
Books, notes, calculators, etc. are not allowed. However, you may bring three 8.5” x 11” crib sheets. You may use both sides and may handwrite or type these.
The final is cumulative and does not have a particular focus on recent material. It includes topics from the entire semester, but error-correcting codes and string matching are not on the exam. Its format is similar to that of the two quizzes.
Additionally, our evaluation response rate is currently very low. As Professor Indyk mentioned on Tuesday, feedback is truly valued and taken seriously. It helps improve teaching and can guide decisions about future semesters of the course. As a result, we’ve decided that if you can help us reach a 50% response rate by Monday morning, we will have food at the final!
One last reminder that there will be a review session tonight starting at 7pm in 34-101.
Good luck on Monday!
Best,
The 6.046 Staff
