Exam 3 Key, etc.
Hi all,
The key for Exam 3 has been posted.
From the three of us, thank you for being a great class. We enjoyed working with you this semester. We think you guys learned a lot (and so did we). Hopefully you can save your notes and use them someday to remind yourself of the subtelties of genetic analysis in phage, bacteria, yeast, flies, worms, mice or humans.
We look forward to seeing you guys around in the coming months. Please feel free to email us with questions you might have about labs, rotating, spring classes, etc; we're happy to talk. Enjoy your break; you've certainly earned it. And of course, have fun during IAP!
All the best,
Ian, Natalie, and Sahin

our meeting in room 56-154 at 10 am with folks who have dealt with genetic information in
Things are set for our optional class on thursday at 10 am in our usual room 56-154. We will be joined by two individuals who will bring our studies in human genetics home to you in a real way. One person has dealt with hereditary retinoblastoma since early childhood. His experience includes dealing with DNA diagnostics for retinoblastoma in the course of having two children. Our other guest will fill you in hand first hand on the challenges of being a family member who has inherited a BRCA1 mutation that has already caused breast and ovarian cancer at an early age in her family and the decisions that she made based on her DNA diagnostic results. I know some of you can't be at this class. I will try to find a way to allow you to get at least part of the experience of the class if possible. If you raised your hand last Thursday I expect you to be here at 10 am even if you have had a very challenging evening partying on Wednesday night. I am looking forward to seeing you here Thursday morning.Announced on 10 December 2013 10:06 a.m. by David E Housman
