This subject was designed specifically for students who have taken 8.02 or 8.022 in a previous term, turned in many of the assignments, took some of the Exams, but dropped or did not obtain a passing grade.

3rd floor of bldg 8 and the 4th floor of bldg 16.
Thu: 1 hour of mostly problem solving focused on quiz prep

Course Grade:
50% Weekly Quizzes, 16% Written Psets, 14%
MITx, 20% Final Exam
Class Attendance: Students who do not attend class (both
lecture and recitation) regularly will have up to 5% deducted from
their course grade.
Note: 8.021 will not have midterms, only the weekly quizzes and
a final exam!

New Due Times for 8.021 Assignments
In response to comments on the course evaluation, the due time for the online MITx assignments has been pushed back 2 hours to midnight. Material for Oct 7 - Oct 18
Because of the Columbus Day holiday, the week of Oct 14-18 is very short. As a result, there is no new material posted for Week 7.There is an online MITx PSet but it is due Tuesday at 10pm instead of the usual Monday. Note that this was previously incorrectly listed in the Syllabus but that is now fixed.
The posted formula sheet for Quizzes 4 & 5 will be used for both., Note, however, that there are NO questions about magnetic force or vector cross-products on Quiz #4.
