last optional recitation tomorrow 2-3pm in 9-450B
Hello class,This is just a friendly reminder that the last optional recitation section (required for the 3 credit 11.909) is tomorrow 2-3pm in 9-450B. We'll be discussing the really enjoyable and short Sorkin piece 'Rumble in the Urban Jungle' where the New Urbanists and the Landscape Urbanists are brought to fisticuffs for the top of the cultural and professional food chain (more entertaining than reality tv). We'll also recap the semester.
And don't forget about class evaluations; they are open until the 15th, I believe.
Good luck with the papers, and remember we'd rather have a good paper than an ontime paper.

if you get this before class...
...bring what you have of your paper to class; it will help with an in-class exercise tomorrow.Also, please include a 1 page executive summary with Assignment 2 when you submit it (similar to Assignment 1 - it doesn't explicitly state to do so on the assignment handout, but it is almost always a good idea).
And journal 2s have been returned; huzzah!

Assignment 1 returned!
you should be able to find them on Stellar. They should have in text comments (let us know if you have trouble viewing them). Overall, these were a very strong group of papers. As we mentioned in class, our goal here is to help you produce good work, so if you're not happy with the grade you received, you are always welcome (encouraged, even) to resubmit. If you want to go this route, please contact us.Thanks again for writing/constructing fine papers that made the grading process enjoyable rather than grueling!
