14.121 final exam and grades

Dear class,

I've finished grading the 14.121 exam. You can pick up your exam from me at 10:30-10:45am or between 2:30-3:00pm.

The mean score was a 66, with standard deviation of 17.
The max score was 98.

90-100 A+, 2 students
80-89 A, 8 students
75-79 A-, 3 students
64-74 B+, 10 students
50-63 B, 8 students
below 50 B-, 6 students

I've posted a sketch of the solutions and also the "advice for graduate school" from David Laibson on the stellar.

Solutions to some exam practice questions posted

Hi everyone,

I've posted the solutions for the two exam practice questions that I posted on Tuesday, under the same title "More Exam Practice Questions". These questions were on past year's problem set and they are question 3 and 4 in the posted solution.

The exam tomorrow will start at 1pm and last until 2:30pm. It is in the recitation room (E51-057). Answer booklets will be provided.

Pset solutions and more old exam practice questions

Hi everyone,

Solutions to PS 6 and 7 are now posted on Stellar. I have also posted two other GE questions from past exams. You can find that under the "Problem Set" section.

The review session tomorrow starts at 6pm in E19-758 (NOT the recitation room). I will do a general review of the materials covered in lectures and if we have time, I will briefly discuss some of the exam practice questions.

Recitation and office hour

Hi everyone,

I've posted a past year's exam question on the boundary condition of the excess demand function that we went over in today's recitation. You can find it under the "Recitation" section of the Stellar website.

If you plan to come to office hour on Tuesday, it would probably be the most helpful/efficient if you could email me your questions or things you want to discuss in advance. Of course I am also happy to discuss with you via emails.

Review session, Exam practice questions, and PSET 7

Hi class,

I've posted a set of practice problems from Parag for you to get ready for the exam. Problem set 7 is also posted, and it is optional (meaning that you don't need to turn it in). Solutions to PS 6 and 7 will be posted early next week.

We will have a review session next Wednesday, 6-7:30pm in E19-758 (the same room as the office hour). I will hold regular office hour on Tuesday starting at 4:30pm, and you are welcome to drop in if you have individual specific questions.

In light of the 451 final that will take place right after today's recitation, I will end the recitation 15 minutes earlier today. Good luck, everyone!
