Course Evaluation

Dear Class,

Please take a moment to evaluate the class before the deadline which is this Monday at 9am.  If you've attended some recitations, the TAs would especially appreciate comments on their teaching.  We read all comments about how to improve the course.

Thanks,
Mike

(1) Clarification; (2) Logistics

Hi all,

Two things:

(1) I mentioned today (in a brief tangent) that the definition of IP could be modified so that the verifier is allowed to have coin-flip steps, instead of having a private tape preloaded with random bits.  This is true but misleading, as further modifications to the definition would be necessary, which I neglected to mention; sorry if this caused any confusion.  And of course, our official definition of IP is the one given in the textbook, so please stick to that.

(2) Today was the last recitation.  Office hours are still on next week, though.  (We'll send out an announcement if anything changes.)

Thanks for your participation in the recitation sections!

Ben
