For last minute questions, we will be holding additional office hours on Monday (1-2pm) and Tuesday (3-4pm) in room 16-220.

We would also really appreciate it if you could fill out the online evaluations for this course.

It has been a pleasure to be your TAs this term and we hope that you enjoyed the course. Thanks for being a great class! If you have any questions, about class or career/grad school, we would love to help out. Please don't hesitate to send us an email anytime.

Good luck studying!

Final Exam Details

The final exam will be in Walker from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm on 12/17 (Wednesday). The test will contain questions that integrate material you've learned throughout this course and will have an emphasis on the last third of the course. There will not be MATLAB or Python coding on the exam. Please bring a calculator (any calculator is fine, but no phones). The equation sheet that will be provided to you is available on Stellar for your reference. Remember that this exam is worth 35% of your final grade.

To help you prepare for this exam, we will review the major topics from the course from 9:30 am to 11 am on 12/11 (Thursday) in 56-614. There will also be office hours next week for more opportunities to get your questions answered.

Remaining TA office hours:

12/10 (Wednesday), 7 – 8 pm, 16-220

12/15 (Monday), 1 – 2pm, 16-220

12/16 (Tuesday), 3 – 4 pm, 16-220

You can pick up anything you’ve ever handed in during office hours or after the review session.

Please feel free to e-mail us with your questions as you study.

Revised Problem Set 8

We found a small mistake in Problem Set 8 Problem 3 Part D.  A revised version was just posted to Stellar.  The difference between the old and new versions is one line of code:

Old code: task_design.read_resfile(“1EK8_mut.resfile”)

New code: parse_resfile(pose,task_design,“1EK8.resfile”)

Please make sure that you use the new code in Part D.  Sorry for the inconvenience!

Problem Set 8 and Office Hours

Problem Set 8 is now available on Stellar and is due on Friday, December 5th at noon. Please note that you will be using PyRosetta in problem 3. The code takes a while to run so keep this in mind.

If you need a refresher for the python code, take a look at the tutorials on these sites:
https://docs.python.org/2/tutorial/
http://www.tutorialspoint.com/python/

There will be no TA office hours on Tuesday (11/25) or Wednesday (11/26) next week. Instead, we will hold office hours on Monday (11/24) after recitation from 5-6pm in room 32-144. (There will not be a recitation on 11/28 either.)
