Final Presentation Schedule

Dear all,

The final presentation schedule has been added to the top of the "materials" section on stellar for you to access. I will be updating the document if/as things change.

Also, this is a REMINDER to please respond to my previous email about the following (if you have not done so already):

1) Check if you are listed as presenting "the piece" or "documentation" of the piece during your presentation slot. If that field is blank (because you were not there to sign up or were still undecided during the sign up), please let me know ASAP which one is the case for you.

Furthermore, if you are only presenting a documentation of the piece, but would like faculty presence during the actual creation of the piece, please communicate that to me ASAP so we can arrange something with the professors.

2) Please let me know what the format of your presentation will be (an mp3 that can be sent to me in advance, if you'll play CD through the classroom A/V equipment, if you will be bringing your own playback/sonifying equipment, etc.) We would like to have the technical details of this process worked out as much as possible before the presentations.

Grading

The grading breakdown for the course this semester is as follows:

PARTICIPATION - 20% (incl. attendance, self-assessments, disciplinary pop quiz, etc.)

LISTENING ASSIGNMENT(s) - 10%

SYMPOSIUM REPORT - 20%

FINAL PROJECT - 50% (incl. preliminary project proposal, revised project proposal, final paper and sound artifact, final presentation)
