Finals and Paper

Dear Students,

At this point, the final and the paper have been graded. The final had mean of 134 +/- 19. Given its length and difficulty, I am pleased with the performance. Everyone's paper was very interesting and enjoyable to read.

It was a great pleasure to have you in my class. Best of luck with the rest of finals.

Problem Set 6, Review Session, and Office Hours

Hello everyone,

First, if you have not yet turned-in Problem Set 6, please do so by 5 PM today (either in the box or my office (26-650).  This will allow me to have all the sets graded by tomorrow morning and to be able to discuss solutions to the problems.

Graded sets will be available for pickup tomorrow starting at 9 AM from me in 26-650.  Also, feel free to stop by with any questions for the final during the day tomorrow.  I should be in the office most of the day, but if you want to be sure that I'm around just send an e-mail.

Lastly, just a reminder that we'll have a review session for the final today at 2 PM (30 minutes later than the regular class time) in the Kolker Room.  If there is anything specific that you'd like me to cover, just let me know this morning.

Office Hours Today

Hello all,

I'll have office hours for Problem Set 6 today from 3:30 until after people have had a chance to attend after the colloquium.  If those times don't work for you, just let me know and we'll work out another time.
