Procedure for requesting an extension on Final Essays
HI Class. Because I fell behind last week, some of you have not received feedback from me one of their short essays. Everyone should get this feedback by Sunday. Meanwhile, in consultation with S^3, I have decided to make available a short extension for your final essay in 9.46, upon request. If you would prefer to have your essay deadline extended to Dec 9, please email me (cc'ing Kim), requesting an extension. Note that this extension violates MIT's rule on deadlines for final essays in the week before exams, so if you would prefer not to be working on an essay while studying for exams, you can stick with the current deadline.Announced on 04 December 2014 10:01 a.m. by Rebecca R Saxe

Class cancelled Monday 11/24
There will be no class this week (Monday 11/24 or Wednesday
11/26). Kim will hold office hours during both class periods
(10:30-12:00, in 46-4011) instead of regularly scheduled hours for
anyone who wants help working on short essays, final papers, or
preparing for the exam. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break
and we'll see you in December!
