Practice Exam Solutions posted & Exam Venue Confirmation

I've uploaded the solutions to the practice exam questions to stellar. I hope the solutions are useful. Feel free to email me or Tetsuya with questions, or to come to my office hours on monday: I'll hold office hours from 1-3pm in E17-204.

Our final exam will be held on Tuesday, December 15 from 9:00 to 12:00 noon in E51-151. It will cover all the material from the class, but will emphasise topics that were not covered on the midterm. It will be a closed book exam. You may bring in non-programmable calculators. Tetsuya will proctor the exam but I will be reachable by phone throughout.

Practice Exam Questions up on stellar

I have uploaded some practice exam questions to stellar - these are indicative of the type of questions you will get on the exam, and the general level of difficulty. It is not a practice exam in full, the real exam will be longer. I will upload solutions on friday.

Today in class we will discuss practical problems in applied data analysis. This material will not be examinable but will hopefully prepare you for some of the issues practitioners often run into while doing econometrics and statistics.
