Final Announcements

Hi everyone,

Hope your breaks are off to a great start. Attached you will find the compiled list of lessons learned from our sessions this fall. They'll also be posted on Stellar.

In addition, a few of you asked for Shirley Singleton's slide deck from the Active Shooter case. Unfortunately this is not something she circulates externally so I'm not able to share that.

Finally, if you'd like your slides from the last two sessions, they are all in my folder in E62.

Members of Managing in Adversity-Fall, 2015:

You were GREAT! I have a saying: “Sloanies never disappoint!” And you all certainly have proven that point! In my twelve years of teaching Managing in Adversity, you are the best of classes. You came to class prepared; you actively engaged with our guest CEO’s; you asked great questions (as a number of the CEO’s told to me!). And I think you learned a great deal. Thank you!

And I hope to see many of you in Corporations at the Crossroads in the spring semester.

One last request: As I mentioned in class on Thursday, if you have not, please go to http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation and fill out the course evaluation. Tell me what you like about the course, what you don’t like, what you think needs to be changed. Only in that way can I make the course even better and more valuable than I think it is! And I need all the help I can get to keep the class in the same format!!!
