SolidWorks Tutorial

Hi Class,

Based on the polling information we will have our SolidWorks tutorial on Thursday Oct 22 from 6-7 PM in our regular classroom in D-Lab.

Before coming to the session please download SolidWorks. SW 2014 and 2015 are available for download through IS&T: https://ist.mit.edu/solidworks/2015/student.

I will run through a short tutorial covering basic and advanced part construction in solidworks. Shoot me an email if you have a suggestion for an example part!

As we move forward in the semester, if there is interest I can hold more advanced sessions.

SolidWorks Tutorial

Hi Class,

As we get further into the projects, CAD modeling will become more important. In the next couple of weeks I will hold a SolidWorks tutorial to help you all learn or brush up on your CAD skills. Below are links to a google form and a whenisgood form. These will help me understand how I should frame the tutorial and the best times to schedule the tutorial. If you all could go through and fill these out before the end of the weekend that would be great!
