Final Term Paper due this thursday, Dec 10 by 11:59 PM

Hi class,

All of you should have received feedback on your submitted term papers drafts. Please incorporate the feedback and submit the final version on stellar by Thu, 11:59 PM. Two separate submissions folders have been created for undergrad and grad, just like the draft submission. So, please submit accordingly.

Note that this will be the only version which will be graded. Here's a reminder on the grading rubric:
Report on the content of the literature - 50%, conclusions- 25%,
Critique of the literature and qualification of the conclusions- 25%.

Take home exam 2 posted, due tomorrow at 5 pm

Hi Undergrads,

Take home exam 2 is posted online under the "Homework" tab and it's due tomorrow at 5 pm. They are posted as 3 separate problems. So, please turn in your answer for each problem separately.

For exam 1, we had difficulties reading a few of the exams. So, please scan and upload in pdf form. If we can't read it, you are not going to get points.

Don't worry about the signature line, but it's open book, open internet, but do it by yourself!

Term Paper draft due this Thursday, Dec 3 by 11:59 PM

Hi Class,

Term paper draft will be due this Thursday by 11:59 PM on stellar. I have created separate submission folders for undergrad and grad, so please submit under the respective assignment. If you have an external advisor assigned (other than Prof. Golay or Prof. Roman), please email a copy of your draft and coordinate with them to obtain feedback.

Regarding term paper grading, no grades will be given to any except final drafts. Rather, intermediate feedback is being provided for improvement of individual papers. The only grade that will matter is that of the final draft which is due the week after.

Grading will be roughly as follows: report on the content of the literature - 50%, conclusions- 25%, critique of the literature and qualification of the conclusions- 25%.
