Extended Office Hour Tomorrow & HW7 and HW8 pick up

I will hold extended office hour tomorrow for exam 3 from 2:30 to 4:30. Please bring your questions if any. We will be in room 13-4106 for 2:30 to 3:30, but after that, we have to find other empty room since the room reservation is made up to our regular office hour. So I encourage you to come in before 3:30, so that we can move together.

Also, graded homework 7 and 8 are available for pick up in front of 4-052.

Homework 7 Problem 3(b) Correction

Hi All,

There was a typo in Problem 3(b) in Homework 7. I meant to give a question as:
By combining InAs with another III-V compound, an energy gap of 1.1 eV needs to be obtained. Suggest a material that can be used for this purpose, and the relative concentration of InAs and the other material in this alloy, assuming a linear variation in the energy gap.
