Lecture 10 posted; classes; projects; conference; presentations
1. Lecture 10 - Development, Brain Engineering, and Viruses -
has been posted to the Stellar site under Materials!
2. Next class: Thurs 11/12, on "Building blocks of future tools. Barcoding, quantum-measurement nanoparticles, DNA origami, exosomes, prions, post-transcriptional/translational modifications."
3. After 11/12, we will not meet as a full class for about two weeks. During that time, focus on projects. Email me if you want to discuss anything -- this is a perfect time to contact me and ask for feedback on a specific topic!
4. Thurs 11/17 is the MIT Neurotechnology 2015 conference, which I highly suggest you all attend:
http://mcgovern.mit.edu/news/talks-events-news/neurotech-2015/
I'll be co-chairing that conference (one reason why there is no class that day).
5. We'll have final project presentations on 11/24, and 12/3. Everyone always wants to present on the last day, so we'll randomly assign teams to present on either the first or the second day.
The writeup is due on the second presentation day, 12/3.
6. Last homework -- personal reflection (see Lecture 1 syllabus for details) -- is due 11/12!
Best,
Ed
