Course Evaluations

Dear students, as I mentioned in class today, I'm very pleased with the overall performance by the students this year. You should all take a second from working on the final assignment to awkwardly pat yourself on your backs. Me and Kyrie are very invested in providing a high quality learning opportunity and would very much appreciate your feedback, so if you could all stop the back patting for a moment and fill out the course evaluations, that'd be great.

Thank you all for a great semester and good luck with the final assignment.

Final Presentation Schedule

Instructions: Each student will have exactly 7 minutes to present their analysis. There is no time for any technical presentation aids. The content presented is basically the same as for the written analysis, but due to time constraints, the oral presentation has to focus on the most important and interesting parts. The oral presentation is also an opportunity for feedback which can help sharpen the arguments and findings for the final written version of the analysis.

I strongly urge everyone to attend all the sessions you can. You can learn both from each other's presentations and feedback. Please note that there are parallel sessions on December 3 with Group 1 in 26-168 and Group 2 in 26-142.

Last Call for Game Choices for Assignment 3

Since there are students that I assume have dropped the class without doing so officially, I will not reserve time for you when scheduling the final presentations if you haven't made a game selection. So email me ASAP if you haven't, but still plan on doing the assignment.

Dear Students, thanks to Commander Caldwell, we now have a better copy of the Taylor chapter in the readings for next week. You may have to clear your browser cache to download the new version. Also, if someone still has problems downloading Assignment 3, you have to contact Stellar support.

Next Week's Readings

I have Added the Consalvo & Dutton paper we read Week 2 to next week's readings. We want to revisit these tools now that the games we are analyzing are getting longer. You don't have to come up with keywords for this paper.
