Exam

Hi All,

Just a reminder that the exam is in E51-151 at 1:30pm tomorrow. Also, if you haven't already, Mike and I would appreciate taking a few minutes to fill out the subject evaluations.

Review Session Scheduled

Based upon the responses that I've received thus far, I've scheduled a review session for 10:00am on Friday, December 15 in room E51-395 (note that this is not our normal recitation room, and it is an hour later than the normal recitation time). The format will be similar to the previous review session. Please bring questions if you have any!

As a reminder, normal office hours are cancelled for the remainder of the semester, though I'm happy to meet individually. I've blocked out time over the weekend between the review session and the exam so I'm available to meet then as well -- just send me an email to schedule.

Problem Set #6 and Final Exam

Hi all,

The problem 4 in ps 6 was repeated from ps 5. So, we're simply deleting that problem :) I've posted a revision.

Couple notes on the final exam:

1. We will cover only the portion of the class not covered in the midterm. So, everything from Entry onwards is fair game. Of course, you may need to know some fundamental concepts from the first half to answer the questions. But, no papers and no direct long questions based exclusively on those models.

2. The exam will have a similar format to the midterm. It will be of similar length, but we will give you two hours instead of 80 minutes. Just some extra time.

3. The problem set does not have a detailed long question based on the last lecture. So, the exam questions (if any) based on the lecture will be commensurate with that fact. Conceptual questions based on that lecture is fair game.

Review Session // Office Hours // Final Exam

Four things:

(1) The final exam will be held on Monday, December 18 from 1:30PM - 4:30PM in E51-151.

(2) Please fill in your availability here http://whenisgood.net/nc557gy so that we can schedule a review session that works for everybody.

(3) If you want feedback on the final problem set early, please email me your solutions and I'll get them back to you quickly.

(4) I am cancelling my regularly scheduled office hours this and next week. They will instead be by appointment in the hope that this will more easily accommodate everybody's schedules. Send me an email if you'd like to meet.

Hi Class,

I've updated the syllabus and uploaded the reading for next week. Also, I've uploaded slides with some corrections to the Auctions slides and the Consumer Search slides that we noticed yesterday.
