Final Exam Suggestion

Dear all,

As you prepare for the final exam on Monday, here is a suggestion: make sure to review the problem sets! One of the questions on the exam will be (almost) straight off a problem set.

Also, as previously announced, please remember the exam will take place at 9am in the following classrooms:

E62-276 (Last names that start with A—E)
E62-233 (Last names that start with F—K)
E62-223 (Last names that start with L—O)
E62-262 (Last names that start with P—S)
E62-250 (Last names that start with T—Z)

Good luck!
Alessandro, Mike and Namrata

Exam material and PS6

Good morning all,

We know this is week is super-busy for everyone, so we thought we could help you out "on the margin" as follows:

(a) the material on *incentive contracts* (covered in part of tomorrow's class 12/7) will not be on the final exam.
(b) question 1.d in PS6 is therefore optional.

Unfortunately, we cannot move the PS6 due date past Friday 12/8 (i.e., the current date), which is the "Last Day for Assignments in Courses with a Final Exam" per Sloan policy.

See you tomorrow, and hang in there!

Extended Office Hours for Finals

Good Afternoon,

I hope everyone had a great weekend! As we near the end of the semester, there are a few important announcements we would like to bring to your attention:

Expanded Office Hours: During the week prior to your Econ final (i.e. 12/11 – 12/15) TA office hours will be extended. Please consult the document “Extended TA Office Hours” within the General folder on Stellar for specific dates and times.

Exam Materials: Similar to midterm exam preparation, we have uploaded a few of the finals from previous years along with solutions for you to practice. Please note that some of the material in prior years may be different so there may be concepts on the old exams that were not covered this year, or vice versa.

As you begin to prepare for the final, please remember you are allowed one 8.5 x 11 sheet of notes during the exam (both front and back). In addition, there will be an optional final review session led by each TA during normal class time on Tuesday, December 12th.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your TA.

All the best,
Shelby
