Thanks for a Great Semester, and Congratulations!
Dear Class,Hope you are all now starting to enjoy the Holiday Season, now that the fall semester is successfully completed.
Shujing has shared with you the statistics of Quiz #2, and I have to say: She are I are both thrilled with your excellent performances. We are very proud of each and every one of you. You are now budding Applied Probability Engineers and Modelers. You can take those skills in virtually any direction, and build upon them. Teaching you all in my last formal class at MIT was a pleasure and honor.
Even though I become “Professor Post-Tenure” on January 16, I will still have my office at E17-365 and will be regularly on campus. If you want to drop by and discuss things related to modeling and probability (or any other topic of interest to you), I would welcome that in the New Year!
Best,
-- Dick
