Final Presentations
As of today, we have 8 groups scheduled in each section tomorrow. We will try to get through all groups, but we may end up 1-2 short in each section. Please communicate your interest in presenting to the TAs if you have not already done so. This will increase your chances of being selected.Announced on 12 December 2017 10:41 a.m. by Christopher Francis Noe
Schneider & Square D Case - Grade Distribution
Hello all:Tomorrow, we'll be returning the Schneider & Square D case, which you can pick up after the guest speaker from Harbourvest (not to be missed!). We'd like to say - well done! The analysis you provided was very strong, with many teams showing second-order insights and a strong grasp of valuation & forecasting.
25th percentile: 7.5/10
50th percentile: 9/10
75th percentile: 9.5/10
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and see you all tomorrow!
Sincerely,
Logan & Kim

Final Presentations
Hello all!As you know, final presentations are coming up. You all should have received an email from me asking which section you would prefer to present in - as of right now, we have 12 groups who have requested section B (2:30pm) and only 4 groups who will be presenting in section A (1pm). That being said, if you are currently slated for section B and would like to switch to section A instead, you will be much more likely to receive the opportunity to compete for (and win!!) the cash / prizes!
Please reach out to me / Logan if you would like to change your preference.
See you all in class!
Best,
Kim & Logan

Guest Speak Reminder
Our guest speaker for tomorrow forwarded an audio clip and transcript of a speech by Charlie Munger, Warren Buffett's partner, that I have posted on Stellar in case you would like to review it. He will spend some time tomorrow discussing it.Just a reminder to be respectful to the guest speaker by arriving to class on time and refraining from using laptops or other electronic devices during class. Thanks for your cooperation.

Final Project Deliverable Logistics
I wanted to let everyone know what the logistics will be for the final project deliverables.1.) A single hard copy of your team’s project write-up is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday December 13.
2.) A single electronic copy of your team’s presentation slides is due at NOON on Wednesday December 13. This applies to both sections because I will have all presentations loaded on my computer in advance to minimize transition time between presentations. Please email the slides to me and the TAs.
3.) Every team must be prepared to present first thing on Wednesday December 13. TAs will select teams at random so all teams must be present.
4.) Presentations are 6-8 minutes in length with a few minutes after for questions. Do not try to summarize your entire write-up in this time. Just provide one or two unique insights about your company along with your buy/sell/hold recommendation.
5.) We may not have enough time to hear from every group so presentations are not graded, just your write-up and slide deck. However, we will still be recording class participation for questions and comments. Not all team members are required to say something during presentations. For example, teams can designate a single person to present.
6.) If you are a team split across sections, the section with the most people will be where you present. If class conflicts prevent everyone from attending, that is fine.
7.) Prize to the team in each section that the class votes as having the best pitch. If you want to increase your chances of being selected to present, email me and the TAs so that we know of your interest.
8.) If you choose to do so, you may submit a project team peer evaluation form. These forms can be found on the Stellar class website and should be submitted directly to me only. All information in the forms will be kept strictly confidential.
If you have any questions about any of the above, please feel free to contact me or the TAs.
