15.570 - 12/7 Announcements
Hi all,A few announcements:
Office Hours
Jeremy and I will be hosting office hours tomorrow (Friday)
morning from 9am-11am in room E62-262.
Registration status
Please be sure to check your registration status for the course on
Websis. If you are not officially in the course on your
registration and haven't been working with Heather in the
registrar's office to fix it, please let me know. Specific
section assignment is not important, we're taking care of that
internally.
High Note Data Questions
We've received a number of questions regarding specifics on how
to treat outliers and negative values in the high note data. In
general, we encourage you to clean the data as you see fit.
This is real world data, and as such there may be some values that
haven't been sanitized. We will continue to answer specific
questions as best we can, and please continue to reach out, but be
sure to state your data cleaning assumptions in your reports
so we can follow your decisions.
Reminder: Optional presentation on Professor Aral's
research, Tuesday 12/12, 11:30AM-12:30PM, E62-276
As Jen mentioned yesterday, lunch (Otto's pizza) will be
provided.
And in case Sinan's revelation of Google's location
tracking creeped you out, here's how to turn it off:
