Taking Attendance and IDs at Final Exam
Hi All,PLEASE READ the following administrative points about the exam tomorrow:
(1) The exam will be from 9am-12pm in the duPont gym. Please arrive on time.
(2) BRING YOUR MIT ID. The 18.06 staff intends to take attendance at the final exam tomorrow. This will not be disruptive - we will silently mark your names off on a sheet by checking your IDs throughout the exam. Therefore, it is very important that you BRING YOUR MIT ID leave it prominently displayed throughout the exam. We will probably check IDs more than once, so please leave IDs displayed for the entire time.
(3) If you need to leave the exam room during the test (e.g. for the bathroom), you must check in with us (the TA proctors) BOTH when you are leaving the room and ALSO when you return.
(4) We will be collecting the exams at the end in an orderly fashion. Please do not get up from your seat when the exam is over. We will ask you to turn your exam upside down and to stop writing, and we will pick up the exams from you in an orderly fashion.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Good luck!
Best,
Seth

Review handout for Isabel's OH
I made the handout (http://www.mit.edu/~ivogt/Exam_Handout.pdf) for people to work on at office hours yesterday in case they weren't sure what they had questions about. This is NOT comprehensive (conspicuously absent is stuff about least squares and projections since I think this is best reviewed by doing problems), and is NOT meant to be a substitute for doing a bunch of problems. The goal is just to think holistically about the course and synthesize some of the key ideas. We can discuss any of this at my OH on Sunday from 5-6:30pm in 2-239.Announced on 15 December 2017 12:34 p.m. by Isabel Marley Vogt
