Final Report Upload

Teams,
Please upload final reports to Basecamp. We will ask the clients to access the reports directly from Basecamp.

Also, upload all auxiliary documents: drawings, calculations, photos etc., anything you have generated for this project.

Your great work will have more impact if it's shared with the client rather than sitting in some forgotten local drive.

Closing Items

Class,
First thanks for investing your time in learning about DFM and in helping your clients. There are a few things left to do. So, please:

1) Fill out the MIT online subject evaluation, as the school uses this to collect feedback on the class.

2) Review the items that your team may have in the shop to see if any need to be thrown away or taken away. Cheetiri will be reviewing the shelves later today and will clear the unclaimed items.

3) Post your materials (report, CAD, analyses, et cetera) to Basecamp files, so that the clients may have them.

4) If you want a solar cell connector, then pick one up outside of Gwyns office. If you have not delivered your lab notebook for evaluation to Gwyn, please leave it outside of Gwyn's office or send it to him via email. If Gwyn already graded it, then disregard this message.

I hope all of you have a fabulous break and a successful IAP. Best of luck in 2018.

final report

There may be some confusion on the exact time that the report is due. It is today, and given that the instructional team will start grading tomorrow AM, we will accept reports until the very end of Wednesday, 13dec2017.

Design Notebook Check

We forgot to ask you to bring your notebooks to class on the last day. Some of you had them with you and I got them from you and checked them.

For those of you who didn't have them with you - please drop them in the box outside my office at D-Lab, N51-332b by Thursday, December 14th. If that's a problem please email me at gwyndafj@mit.edu

Thanks!

poster printing

Hi there,

I just wanted to mention - in case any other team gets in a bind for their poster tomorrow / the DLab printer troubles continue - FedEx in Tech Square has self-serve poster size printing (in the right size, woo). You just need a USB.

See you tomorrow,
Shelby
