Final Project: Submit both write up (PDF) and code (.m file) on Stellar

Hi All,

Final Project: Some of you have submitted either the code (.m file) or PDF copy of write up. Please submit both files on Stellar. We will be grading the electronic copies submitted on Stellar. Don’t forget to submit the hard copies in the homework drop boxes in case something goes wrong with the electronic copies.

We would really appreciate if you could fill out evaluations for this course.

It has been pleasure to be your TAs for this class. Thanks for being a great class!

Best Wishes,
The TA Team

Final Project: Part 1 submission reminders, Part 2 submission + code information

Hi everyone,

Part 1 of the final project is due tomorrow (Wed 12/6) at 12:30 pm. As part of your submission, you will be submitting one .m file to Stellar. **Please name the file lastname_firstname.**

This announcement is also a reminder to re-read the directions for the project prior to your submission:
- You should turn in a hard copy of your code to the homework dropboxes (any 320 box is fine); using MATLAB’s Publish button ensures that your figures are included in this hard copy.
- The directions also specify a single .m file.
- We will not accept late hard copy or electronic submissions.

Part 2 of the final project is due next Tuesday (12/12) at 12:30 pm. **Please name the .m file lastname_firstname_modification.**

The TA code will be available on Stellar Wednesday afternoon. We will also provide comments on your .m file submissions via Stellar before Saturday for those seeking feedback on their code before submitting Part 2 of the project.

Thanks!
The TA Team

Recitations Cancelled and Implementation Project

Hi All,

Recitations for rest of the semester have been cancelled. We will continue with office hours at regular times (Tuesday 6-7 PM, Thursday 7-9 PM, 56-154).

As a reminder, the project is a "Take-home Exam". Therefore, no collaborations are allowed on the project. TAs would answer your questions if they are deemed fair for entire class.

We have also posted an addendum, clarifying the set up of the model. You are not required to plot any experimental observations for any of the figures.

Good Luck,
TA Team

Remaining recitations + implementation project

Hi all,

Congrats on finishing the second exam! Here is some information regarding recitations and the implementation project -

Recitations
There are two more weeks of recitations (Nov 17/Nov 20 and Nov 27). The recitations will cover content related to lecture and the last problem set, but there are no more recitation quizzes for the semester.

Implementation Project
The Haugh hGH paper and the implementation project instructions have been uploaded to Stellar along with two sample write ups. The first part of the project (code validation) is due 12/6. We encourage you to start on the paper and bring questions to office hours.

Have a great weekend!

Exam II Review and Recitation 9 Clarifications

Hi All,

We have uploaded the practice problems from yesterday's review session. We added notes regarding when you can/cannot assume rapid equilibrium for receptor trafficking problems.

In Monday's recitation, I solved the last part of the problem incorrectly (fractional ligand depletion). The answer key reflects the correct answer. I have also added a clarification on algebra for the integral.

Good Luck,
Ishwar
