Course Objectives:

This course covers Lessons 13 through 18 of Genki II: An
Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese. The main objective of
this course is to build up four basic skills in Japanese:
listening, speaking, reading and writing. At the completion of this
course, you will have a good foundation of basic Japanese
structures and be able to carry out conversations on familiar
topics with native speakers of Japanese.

Placement Test on Tuesday, September 5
Those who didn't take Japanese I and II at MIT need to take a placement test. The placement test will take place on Tuesday, September 5th.Date: September 5 (T)

Your attendance on the first day of the class (Thursday, September 7)
The first day of the class is on September 7. Your attendance is critical and please go to the section that you to attend. We only accept up to 16 students per section. If we have too many students and if you don't show up on the first day,you may have to give up your seat to other student(s).Also, we will review Japanese I&II (grammar and vocabulary in Genki I) on the first day. Please check the Calendar of our Stellar site!
