22.611j/8.613j  Intro to Plasma Physics I

The final exam will be in the usual classroom 9-12noon 19th Dec. Its scope will be all topics in chapters 4 and 5 of the notes: fluid descriptions, waves, and kinetic theory. But those topics assume some background from chapters 1-3, so don't assume you need nothing from the first three chapters. The exam will be closed book, no electronic tools permitted, but a single page mnemonic sheet with the same specifications as the midterm will be permitted. I have posted a couple of old exam questions as examples. They happen to be a particle problem and an MHD problem; so don't assume this year's topics will be the same.

I have posted a problem set 8 that is not for credit, but for education skill development.
If you have problems with it, ask me to explain after class on 12 Dec.

Sorry there was a typo in the Pset 7 file itself saying due 21st. That's corrected now. It is due as per Stellar on this Thursday 16th.
