Exam 3 Grades and Concluding Remarks

Hey everyone,

We have finished grading the third exam for 7.52. The statistics for it are shown below. If you would like to know your grade on the exam you can email us and we will let you know. If you would like to pick up your exam I have them in 68-443. I will be around all of next week and sporadically in the week after Christmas, and I will keep them during IAP if you want to pick up after the new year. Please just shoot me an email before you come by so that I can let you know if I am around.

We realize that our last recitation with you ended rather abruptly because of our class meeting, so we also wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you all for a great semester! We really hope that you learned from this class and are able to better appreciate and apply a genetic approach to Biological research. We also hope that you enjoyed this class as much as we did (though we know that might be a hard sell for some people). On this note, please fill out course evaluations!

We have listed out the labs that we rotated in, and all of us are very happy to answer questions and talk about our experiences in those labs, or just talk through rotations and lab choices in general.

LOD score practice

For the first half of recitation today we are going to go through a LOD score problem together. I have posted the questions in the recitation section of the Stellar page. If you would rather practice doing the question alone feel free to work on it before recitation.

Pset 6 answers and exam topics

Hey all!

We have just posted the answers to pset 6, as well as a document with the general topics for exam 3. Exam 3 covers any material that we have learned about during Professor Houseman's section. It is not a cumulative exam.
Please email us by tomorrow afternoon if there are topics you want to go over during the Friday review session!
