1.125/ESD.341  Web System Architecting

The course focuses on the design and implementation of  sensor (RFID) and robot networks. Lectures and readings cover network protocols, network resource management, and data access and exchange. Topics include an analysis of security models and data networks used in sensor and robotics (control) systems within retail, health care, and transportation industries. Students will work in teams to integrate hardware and software based on .NET 2.0 and MS Robotics Studio to develop either a robot sensor platform or a distributed sensor network.
