On real rigidities

i have posted a nice and short piece by david romer on real rigidities (which I shall talk about in the next lecture).

On the optimum quantity of money

In answer to maya eden's question, I have put in the materials section a paper by coles and kocherlakota, which gives the answer in a CIA model.  My guess is that the same non existence result holds in a money in the utility function model.
