Prerequisites: No formal prerequisites. This subject is addressed to graduate students and advanced undergraduates.
Class notes (handouts) will be distributed in class and/or will be available on-line at this site before each class session. Many of the handouts are available for downloading or printing in PDF format.
Text: There is no required text for this course. Students may find it useful to acquire one of several alternative textbooks on engineering economy studies (e.g., Sullivan et al; Grant et al; Park and Sharp-Bette; Newnan, Eschenbach et al). But this is not required.
Students may also find it useful to download the MIT report, The Future of Nuclear Power
Course grading: Grades will be based on:
