Class canceled 5/4
Hi all:
Please note that I will not be available on Monday 5/4 for 24.201 due to a speaking commitment in DUSP (this is true also of the grad section). Students in the class are welcome to gather to talk about the material or the 4th papers, however. I will hold extra office hours on Wed from 1-3 (email me if you want to make an appointment then, or at a different time). The reading assignment will remain the same for Wed 5/6; for Monday 5/11, please read the material assigned for Monday 5/4 on weakness of will. We will not devote a separate class to contemplation (the topic, not the activity!).
Grad students should also note that I will not be available on 5/11 for the grad section either, so we should plan some make-up sessions. Sorry for the inconvenience!

2nd paper extension 'til 4/1 (no fooling!)
HI all:
I've decided that having a paper due on the Monday after spring break isn't fair, so you all have an extension 'til Wed 4/1 in class. But please....don't wait 'til the last minute, and keep up with your reading! (The reading for Monday is short, on purpose).
Have a great break. :)

classroom change for 24.201
Hi all:
So I think the classroom confusion has settled. We will be meeting from now on in 56-167, the smaller room next door to the seminar room we've been using. I think it will be fine for our purposes.
See you tomorrow!
